Software architecture review & roadmap
Know exactly what to fix in your architecture — and what to leave alone
An honest read on your current system and a pragmatic plan to get it to the next stage — what to fix now, what can wait, and what to stop building. 2 weeks to a working roadmap your team actually agrees with.
The problem
The system that got you here is starting to creak. Deploys are slower, bugs cluster in the same places, and every new feature feels like it costs more than the last. You suspect some of it is real technical debt and some of it is fine — but you can't tell which, and rewriting the wrong thing is an expensive way to find out.
What's included
A focused review of your architecture, codebase, and delivery process, followed by a written roadmap. I look at how the system is built, where the real risks and bottlenecks are, and what your next stage of growth will demand. You get a prioritized plan that separates what to fix now from what can safely wait — and what to stop investing in — plus the reasoning behind each call so your team can own it.
Who it's for
Teams with real traffic and a real codebase who are hitting the first waves of scaling strain, and founders who want an independent read before committing to a rewrite, a re-platform, or a big infrastructure bet.
Who it's not for
Pre-product teams still searching for fit, where the right move is usually to keep shipping rather than harden the architecture. If you don't have real usage yet, this is premature.
Frequently asked questions
How long does an architecture review take?
Most reviews run two to four weeks depending on the size of the codebase and team, ending in a written roadmap and a walkthrough. The goal is a fast, honest read you can act on — not a months-long audit.
Will you recommend a rewrite?
Only if the evidence genuinely calls for one — and most of the time it doesn't. A big part of the value is separating real technical debt from what's fine as it is, so you don't spend months rewriting the wrong thing.
Do you need access to our codebase?
Yes — read access to the code plus a few conversations with your engineers gives the most accurate picture. Everything is covered by an NDA, and I only look at what's needed to assess the architecture and delivery process.
